Why I do what I do:
At the heart of my practice is the belief that health is more than the absence of illness—it is a dynamic state of balance, growth, and connection. As both a Nurse Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist, I bring together the science of modern medicine with the art of therapeutic touch, creating a space where healing is both evidence-based and deeply human.
I am committed to client-centered care, where each individual is seen, heard, and respected as the primary partner in their wellness journey. My approach is holistic while honoring the uniqueness of every story, background, and goal.
I believe in fostering wellness over treatment by focusing on prevention, education, and empowerment. By blending clinical expertise with hands-on healing, I aim to not only alleviate symptoms but to strengthen the body’s innate capacity for health.
In all aspects of care, I strive for excellence—continually learning, refining, and growing in my practice to offer the highest quality of service. My work is grounded in integrity, ensuring transparency, honesty, and shared decision-making in every interaction. Compassion guides my hands and my heart, ensuring that care is always delivered with empathy, kindness, and respect.
A little bit about Anna:
I have lived in the Quad Cities my entire life. I am married and have one son and a wonderful daughter-in-law. I graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness in the early 2000s. I have been a board certified massage therapist since 2008. I graduated with my doctorate in nursing practice in 2021 from the University of Iowa. In addition to massage therapy, I teach at the University of Iowa. For fun, I like to read, play volleyball, cruise, and hang out at the campground. My goal is to grow my massage practice into a wellness clinic that offers massage and primary care with a functional health approach.
